1. Reliable power unit
The GTY160 is powered by the Weichai WD10G178E25 diesel rated at 131 kW — an inline four-stroke, water-cooled, direct-injection engine.
Traction reserve: 830 N·m of torque ensures confident operation under load and a good pull reserve when pushing ground.
Efficiency: A fuel consumption of 214 g/kW·h is among the best in its class, reducing operating costs.
Reliability: Pulse exhaust manifold, precise crankshaft balancing and high-quality casting increase service life and stability in field conditions.
2. Smooth-power transmission
Torque converter: The 3-element, single-stage, single-phase converter ensures smooth power transfer and steplessly adapts to ground resistance.
Gearbox: A planetary gearbox with multiple-disc clutches and manual hydraulic control, force lubricated — three speeds forward and three reverse.
Final drive: Triangle spline and tip-relief crowned gears improve balance and stability during power transmission, reduce noise and extend service life.
3. Productive work equipment
Blade: Straight-tilt and angle blades up to 4.5 m³ are available, plus the GTY160S version for light ground. The new blade is more durable and capacious.
Ripper: A three-shank ripper with digging depth up to 572 mm handles dense ground without preliminary breaking.
Hydraulics: A 243 L/min flow and sliding control valve ensure precise, predictable attachment work.
4. Cab and undercarriage
Hexahedral cab: The hexahedral cab provides excellent all-round visibility, powerful ventilation and effective dust protection.
Gradeability: The dozer confidently climbs grades up to 30°, widening its use on rough terrain.
Undercarriage: The segmented sprocket and floating seals in all undercarriage units deliver durability and contamination resistance.
