Official warning

Pursuant to clause 1 of Article 382 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, customs authorities, within the scope of their powers, shall take measures to protect intellectual property rights.
In accordance with Article 382-1 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, if the customs authorities, during the process of customs control and clearance of imported or exported goods, identify signs of infringement of intellectual property rights included in the Customs Register of Intellectual Property Objects, they shall:

• Notify the rightsholder within one working day;
• Upon receipt of an application from the rightsholder within one working day from the notification date - take measures to protect their rights in accordance with Article 382 of this Code.

According to Article 385 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the decision of the leadership of the Customs Committee to include intellectual property objects in the Customs Register, the "Hyundai Construction Equipment" brand has been entered into said register under No. 00607.
On the basis of a license agreement registered with the Department of Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the exclusive rights to use the "Hyundai Construction Equipment" brand belong to JV GST OIL LLC.
